A new study says that eating low-calorie foods in your diet every day can lead to eternal youth. By reducing calories means lower insulin levels and body temperature of your major. In addition, some studies also suggested that limiting the number of calories ingested by the body will affect the metabolism and insulin sensitivity.
The study involved 48 samples consisting of men and women who are overweight and rarely exercise, but in good health. The sample is divided into 4 (four) groups, namely:
1. The first group
The group was asked to adjust your diet to maintain weight. After 6 months, the study showed that the group is not on a diet lost an average of 1% of their weight.
2. The second group
The group is required to reduce calories by 25%. After 6 months, their weight down 10.4%.
3. The third group
The group is required to exercise and restrict calories eaten. Their weight down by 10% after 6 months.
4. The fourth group
This group should undergo a very low calorie diet until their weight shrinkage of 15% and then continued with a healthy diet to maintain their weight. During the same period as other groups, the weight of this group decreased dramatically by 13.9%.
In addition to weight loss in all four groups above, the results also showed that all three diet groups decreased insulin levels. Low insulin levels is one factor that is found in people who can live up to the age exceeds 100 years. The group that successfully undergo a low-calorie diet will show a lower body temperature that will help a person live longer because with no need to spend excessive energy.
